LONGMONT, Colorado, Nov. 23, 2004 - Conduant Corporation (www.conduant.com), the leading developer of direct-to-disk, long duration recording and playback systems, announced today that it has won high rankings in three prestigious award programs. Nationally, Conduant was recognized by the Inc. 500 and Deloitte Technology Fast 500. In Colorado, the company won Deloitte's Technology Fast 50.>

Conduant placed 172nd in the Inc. 500, Inc. Magazine's national annual award program. The company placed 228th in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 that recognizes the fastest growing technology companies in the nation. In addition to ranking on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, Conduant placed ninth on the Colorado Technology Fast 50, which is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology firms in the state.

"We are honored to be recognized by Inc. and Deloitte, both esteemed organizations," said Ken Owens, CEO of Conduant. "We attribute ConduantÕs spectacular growth to our customers" acknowledgement of the value of our unique direct-to-disk recording technology developed for government, scientific research and defense applications. Conduant is rapidly replacing tape and solid state technologies because of the reliability and ultra-fast performance of our StreamStor™ and Big River data recorders.">

"Growing the top line enough to make the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is especially meaningful during tough economic times for the technology section," said Mark A. Evans, national managing partner of Deloitte's Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group. "We congratulate Conduant on becoming one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America."

How companies are ranked

Inc. 500

Inc. Magazine looks at the growth in company net sales between 2000 and 2003 and calculates the percentage growth and rank companies on that number alone. In 2004, the publication examines growth over a four-year period. Inc. requires that in 2003 net sales were at least $2,000,000.

Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and Fast 50

The Fast 500 list is compiled from Deloitte's 19 regional North American Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research. To qualify for the Fast 500, entrants must have had 1999 operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD and $75,000 CD for the United States and Canada, respectively; and 2003 operating revenues must be at least $1 million USD or CD.
