Microsoft is the super brand of 2009
Microsoft has become the number one business super brand racing all others. The Microsoft has knocked the search engine and ranked number one. The annual business super brands top 500 was compiled by the center for brand analysis (TCBA). The number one search engine was pushed to number 5 position.
The initial list of TCBA had a list of 1,200 brands to select from. The shortlist of TCBA had still had around 500 brands and 25 experts panel. The voting was done by 1,700 professionals to choose from 1 to 10 brands. The new entry among the first ten members was blackberry handset manufacturer. The black berry manufacturer was 42nd rank in the previous year, and it has moved to the third place in 2009.
Sony and Virgin Atlantic have been ranking the third and fourth respectively. From last year 2009 list Nokia, Bupa, BP, Michelin has fallen down. The hotel chain Premier INN has climbed from 437th position to 240th position. The chief marketing of Aviva insurance is very proud of its development. The second highest grower is Norwich union which was Aviva insurance.
