Lufthansa strike suspended
The strike begun by around 4000 pilots of Lufthansa has been suspended. The pilot union had announced strike from Monday through Thursday.
The German airlines were facing troubles when it already had to cancel around 600 flights. The strike were to aggravate the problems in operations. Many passengers found their flight canceled. Many international passengers who had to break their journey enroute were the ones who were affected the most.
The pilots union were demanding job security. They claim that most of the airlines had many outsourced pilots and they had a threat to their jobs.
Though the strike is suspended now, there are still irregularities in the operation of their flights.
