Streaming videos on the Android mobile
A new application available on Android Market allows the transmission over the Internet, through the player’s website Qik with videos captured directly from an Android phone. This will allow you to share moments of your life with others in real time from anywhere in the world. Moreover, the implementation of Qik lets you share links to videos with others through email, Twitter, Facebook or YouTube. The user can choose whether you want your video public or private.
The application, still in beta, has limitations. The first and most obvious limitation is the speed of transmission that allows the bandwidth, especially if different people want to see live. The bandwidth affects the number of frames per second you can capture with your mobile. You should not expect to hang a high-quality video cameras currently available Android phones. In situations of low light and moving subjects, you must have enough pulse to achieve a good video.
Anyway, you can download Qik in Android Market application to test and judge for yourself. You must have a phone based on Android operating system. It is available on Windows Mobile models and was also rumored that there is a version that works with the iPhone 3.0.
