IMF raises Asia growth forecast
The Asian rebound in the last few months has surprised the IMF and it has now revised the region’s growth rate for 2009 and 2010 substantially. It is now expecting the Asian region to grow by 2.8% this year, up by over one percentage projected in May 2009.
It is also expecting the region to grow by 5.8% in 2010, primarily aided by China and India.
