China beaming and US drownig
Just five years back, China was totally at the mercy of US markets and now it is the other way round. The Chinese economy has been able to record healthy 8% plus growth every year in the last five years while US was struggling to go beyond 1.5% growth.
The Chinese economy is now adding nearly one million jobs every month whereas US is losing half a million jobs every month. The Chinese dominance on global issues is only set to increase in the coming years, as any global economic recovery would only help it to grow faster and stronger.
