Apple is the mobile phone leader
The Apple computer company got into the tough Mobile phone market only in the year 2007 with the launch of iPhone and nobody expected it to become the leader of the mobile phone market, in just two years.
But that has happened, with Apple becoming the leader in mobile phone market in terms of profitability. Nokia has lost the first slot due to increasing competition in Europe, Japan, China and India, apart from crashing volumes.
Other mobile majors like Motorola and Samsung have also seen sharp drop in their volumes in the year 2009.
